Yummy easter eggs are treats kids (and some grown ups) look forward to every easter. Tasty treats for those with a sweet tooth. I loved getting chocolate easter eggs from my parents every easter. Now I'm a mom with kids, I would love to get them for myself as well as my kids... if not for my weight problem. Oh well.

Where did all this begin. Easter eggs? Why are we celebrating a festival of eggs and bunnies? Actually, the origin of easter has nothing to do with bunnies or eggs. Easter is actually the day Christians around the world remember the day Jesus came back to life after dying on the cross as the payment for the sins of everyone. He was dead and put in a tomb but on the third day, he came back to life. He defeated death, so Christians have no more need to fear death either.
