This is a cartoon that appeals to both kids and grown ups alike. Well duh. Actually, my 9 year old kid loves it. So do the guys at the office. Talking animals are a staple in many cartoons, but talking animals that fight Kung Fu are even cooler.
Maybe it is the cuteness of the characters that draw us in. Or the heartwarming tale. It is about a bungling panda, whose Shifu was nearly killed by the rogue kung fu snow leopard, named Tai Lung. Maybe the way the entire package put together is where the magic lies. In any case, soft toys and other merchandise from Kung Fu Panda.
I guess everyone loves tales where the underdog wins.
